This policy explains how Anahat Music Therapy ("we", "us") collects and uses personal information when you visit anahatmusictherapy.com, create an account, book a service, or buy a course or product.
Information we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, phone number and password (stored encrypted).
- Google sign-in: if you choose "Sign in with Google", we receive your name, email address and Google account identifier. We do not receive your Google password.
- Orders and enrolments: name, contact details and shipping address for product orders, and the course or programme you enrol in.
- Forms you submit: messages from the contact form, enquiries, assessments and testimonials, including any details you choose to share.
- Payments: payments are processed by Razorpay. We receive a payment reference and status, but never your card, UPI or bank details.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see below).
How we use it
- To create and manage your account and let you sign in.
- To process orders, payments, course access and consultation bookings.
- To reply to your enquiries and send service-related emails (for example order confirmations and one-time passwords).
- To protect the website from spam and abuse.
- To understand how the website is used and improve it.
We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers we share data with
We share only the information each provider needs to perform its service:
- Google — Sign in with Google, reCAPTCHA spam protection and embedded maps.
- Razorpay — payment processing.
- Zoho ZeptoMail — sending transactional emails.
- Tawk.to — the live chat widget, if you use it.
- Meta (Facebook) — the Meta Pixel, which measures visits from our advertising.
We may also disclose information where required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep account and order information for as long as your account is active and as required for accounting and legal purposes. Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to respond and follow up.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop using it for a particular purpose, by emailing us. If you signed in with Google, you can also remove our access at any time from your Google Account's security settings.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and hashed passwords. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
